Why You Should Book Milestone Sessions

Whether it’s a six-month session, a first birthday, or a session to celebrate another birthday or milestone, there are so many reasons to consider a milestone session for your little one.

1. You can make it completely personal.

Bring props that are special to your baby, incorporate things they love, highlight their little personality, or come up with a theme that feels uniquely them. You can get as creative as you want!

2. They’re all about celebrating your baby.

Newborn photos will always be incredibly special, but milestone sessions give you the chance to document all the little changes that happen as your baby grows. These images can be used for birthday party décor, scrapbooks, nursery prints, or simply to create a collection of images that complements your newborn photos.

3. There’s still time for the whole family.

Milestone sessions are centered around your little one, but I’ll always make time for a family photo and sibling photos when applicable. They’re shorter than a full family session but longer than a mini, which makes them the perfect amount of time to capture your baby and those important family connections without feeling rushed.

They’re so much fun, and the majority (if not all!) of the ideas came from the parents themselves. They personalized each session to their kiddos, got creative, and had fun with it. There really are no rules. Just a fun way to celebrate who your little one is right now, because they won’t be this little forever.
