Why In-Home Sessions are the Perfect Way to Showcase Your Story

Each year, my family chooses to invest in an in-home session. I love decorating our space to make it feel uniquely ours, so what better place to capture memories than in the comfort of our own home? When I shared this idea with a group of moms, many of them had never considered an at-home session before. It made them rethink the notion that the "perfect" location has to be outdoors in a beautiful field. In reality, it’s the simple, everyday moments that truly capture the essence of who they are as a family.

This year, I’ve decided to take a step back from couple sessions to focus more on documenting families. But when I received a referral from the sweetest people, I just couldn’t say no. And that’s how I had the pleasure of working with the Rossi's. Both are transitioning out of the Air Force, which will soon take them on a new journey. Before they move, they wanted a session to capture the things they love most — making pasta, sipping wine, and walking their dog on the nearby trail. We had such a blast together, listening to great music and capturing their love.
