When Loren first reached out to me, I was immediately drawn to the vision she had for her family’s yearly photos. She wanted to capture the essence of this season in their lives—especially summer—and document the simple, joyful moments they cherish as a family. From relaxing pool days and swinging on the play set to planting vibrant Zinnias in their garden and enjoying ice cream by the pool, these were the moments she wanted to preserve.

We began the session in their front yard, beneath the shade of a magnolia tree with a swing swaying from its branches. From there, we moved to the backyard, where laughter filled the air as they swung together, snuggled up, and shared moments of pure love. As the session continued, the girls slipped into matching swimsuits, and we captured their carefree spirit as they jumped off the diving board and played in the pool—laughing and being silly together. We ended the session with ice cream sundaes.

This is your reminder: your family session can reflect your unique story. What are the things your family loves to do right now? What moments would you never want to forget about this season of life? Whatever your answers may be, they can become the heart and soul of your next family session!
